A Pool Safety Cover  has a great warranty period, however, NOTHING lasts forever and at some point your cover will need to be replaced.

Here are some tips to assist you in making the replacement of your pool safety cover easier and less costly.

Save Time & Money

Did you save some of the paperwork or information regarding the current safety cover? Usually a safety cover will have a serial number so that the original layout may be identified through the manufacturer. This information can be located along the perimeter of the cover. With the serial number and if the manufacturer  is known, a replacement estimate could be as simple as a phone call.

If you do not possess any of the above information on your existing cover, but still have the current safety cover in your possession, having a replacement made is not problematic. Most manufacturer’s (even if original not made by company) for a small fee will have a program to create a template from your existing cover.( The springs should be removed.) Your existing cover will be tagged with contact information so that when the estimate is ready you may be contacted for approval. In most instances, the fee is waived if the replacement cover is ordered.

Now, if you do not have any of this information or if this is a new install of a safety cover, DON’T WORRY. A replacement or new cover may be made by having a Pool Pro take A-B measurements. As these measurements need to be precise and accurate for the proper fit of the cover, it is not recommended measurements be provided by the pool owner. The Pro’s at Elite Lawn Sprinklers, Pools & Spas, will be happy to assist you, simply contact us at (732) 257-0702 for more information.
